IAWE2027 invites abstracts for presentations of 30 minutes, of which 20 minutes are set aside for the presenter(s), and 10 minutes for questions from participants. Each prospective participant may submit only one single-authored paper and additionally be part of no more than one co-authored paper.

We particularly welcome papers that speak to the conference theme, by examining their own theoretical foundations as part of the novel research being presented. As always, papers that address any aspect of world Englishes will be welcome, including, but not limited to the following:

Abstracts should be a maximum of 200 words, excluding references, and be submitted as Word documents via e-mail to abstracts@iawe27.nl.

The deadline for abstract submission is 31 December 2026. The outcome of the review process will be communicated by 31 January 2027.
