Dr. Uri Ilan is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist specializing in precision medicine for leukemia. He currently serves as a Research Fellow and PhD candidate at Prinsess Maxima Centrum in Utrecht, Netherlands, focusing on advancing precision medicine in leukemia treatment alongside the den Boer and Zwaan groups.
Prior to this, Dr. Ilan completed clinical fellowships in pediatric hematology at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, UK, and in pediatric hematology-oncology and bone marrow transplantation at Hadassah Ein Kerem, Israel. He earned his medical degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and is pursuing a PhD at Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
Dr. Ilan is actively engaged in various international initiatives, including coordination of the International Leukemia/Lymphoma Target Board (iLTB-NCT05270096), participation in the Innovative Therapies for Children with Cancer in Europe (ITCC) as a HEMA-committee member, and membership in the European Hematology Association (EHA) Precision Medicine in Leukemia group. He also serves as a steering committee member for resistant diseases at the International BFM study group.
